Usually you get cs7 indeed and > the flags with wich you specify cs8 used to be broken but do > function alright in FreeBSD 1.02 /etc/gettytab is the first place I looked, but I couldn't figure out what must be set to force cs8. I assumed I had to modify the default entry at the top of gettytab but what flag do I set? So what you are saying is that cs8 on serial port logins will NOT work under FreeBSD-1.0R, correct? How do I get to 1.02? Patches?
