This one is going to both the 386BSD and Linux enthusiasts....

Is anyone in either the [Free|Net|386]BSD or Linux groups
actively porting TeX?  I assume TeX development, somewhere,
is active, but am unclear how commited people are to the
BSD/Linux platforms.  I currently run Linux (Slacware 1.1.0)
but the TeX port seems to be aging rapidly.

Any feedback MOST appreciated...
