I'm still working with Gunther Scahdow's TeX port , and am trying to get xdvi to wokr. I was told yesterday that I need to have the pk fonts built. Thus, in the directory /usr/local/lib/TeX/fonts/tfm, I ran: foreach file (*.tfm) set eeek=`echo $file | awf -F\. '{print $1}'` mftopk $eeek end This filled up /usr/local/lib/TeX/fonts/pk with a whole pile of fonts, including cmr1[720].300pk I tehn went and did setenv XDVIFONTS /usr/local/lib/TeX/fonts/pk However, xdvi still prints out that it can't find any font. Am I still negelcting to do something here? Thansk. Praying for a simple font system some day Marc 'em. -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Marc Wandschneider Seattle, WA Barney the Dinosaur sings!
