This makes for real fun This is a well known problem with many trident 8900/9000 cards. On them the cursor becomes invisible, when the cursor start scan line is set to 0. And this is the standard configuration in pccons.c. It can be remedied by simply (?) rebuilding the kernel after undefining FAT_CURSOR in pccons.c . Perhaps this could be included in the FAQ or corrected generally. Wolfgang R. Mueller <dvs@ze8.rz.uni-duesseldorf.de>, Computing Centre, Heinrich-Heine-University, Duesseldorf, Germany.
