   I have (accidently of course :)) deleted my /dev/com0 and /dev/tty00 files,
   and now my mouse isn't working under X.
   Since I know that someone out there have a solution, I hope you can tell me.

I would try :

cd /dev
sh MAKEDEV sio0

This should bring you your devices back.
