Has anyone succeeded with FreeBSD-1.0-Release and XFree86-2.0, using a
CompuDyne (from CompUSA) "Truecolor" board with a Cirrus CL-GD 5422
chip?  When I run X-->XF86_SVGA -probeonly >& /dev/tty00, I sometimes
get a complete list all the way to (--)using 800x600, or it may stop
before printing out the clocks. I haven't got xinit (twm, xeyes,
oclock, xterms) to stay up more that a few seconds. Crashes the whole
system.

With 386bsd-0.1+pk2, I was able to run X386mono only.

I could sure use some debugging pointers!
