Systemwide in /etc/rc<younameit> :

alias w '/usr/ucb/w | grep -v ^sharif'
alias who '/bin/who | grep -v ^sharif'

until the studentd use /bin/who ;-)  - THEN you need a trojan horse :-)

or logout. ;-)
