I've gotten INN running (finally) from the source on ftp.cdrom.com, and
everything seems OK, innd loads up, I can attach clients, etc..., but I can't
post. I run inews -h, make a test message (including Newsgroups:, Subject:) and
send it off with a ^D and I keep getting a
Required "Subject" header is missing or empty.
(Aritcle not posted.)
I'm capitalizing Subject and leaving a space, posting to valid groups etc...
When I try to post from a client I just get a "Posting Error". Also I've tried
telneting to port 119 and I get the "INN server etc... " message but can't get
it to do anything. Both the server and client are in the hosts.nntp and
nnrp.access.
I'm running NetBSD 0.9 on a 486/50 w/8megs RAM and a 3c507 NIC.
Thanks - James
