I'm having trouble getting FreeBSD (epsilon), XFree86-2.0, and my MS
Busmouse to work together. I'm using (or trying to use) ms-busmouse
from freebsd.cdrom.com.

The mouse is of the InPort variety (irq 5 port IO_BMS1 (23c?)).

The mouse will move each time a key is pressed, but not until and not
for long afterwards. I've seen the symtom before, and someone out there
sent me a patch when I was running 386bsd+patches, but in the move, I
seemed to have lost them.

Help?! (Please respond via email)
