X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.1 PL8] Hi I've got a oldish Chase Research 8 port serial card in an Interactive box that will become free soon. Is there any support for this card in FreeBSD? I know that FreeBSD supports the AST 4 Port cards like a song, but this card is a bit more intelligent - it uses 2 interrupts and a DMA channel and has an Intel 80186 doing the hard work talking to 4 Zilog DARTs. I would really like to use this card, but the only UNIX drivers I could get was for SCO XENIX (ugh) and ISC, but NO Source! I seriously doubt if Chase Research still supports this card. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Ernst -- Ernst du Toit ernstjdt@maxwell.ctech.ac.za School of Electrical Engineering Cape Technikon
