Some work is currently underway (not by me) to support mounting of PCFS file systems on DOS extended partitions. There is currently no way to install in a DOS logical partition; the main tools to do this would be a pfdisk that knows about them (to run under DOS to create a BSD partition) or a BSD fdisk, assuming all the work with the BSD code is done. Secondary considerations, like the ability of the default BSD MBR (when it is the first thing on the disk) to boot extended partitions, and the "proper" checksum for the boot track to let OS/2's boot manager recognize it as a bootable partition still need to be addressed.
