I am trying to compile some of the stuff that I did not get on my distrubition (like news, gzip, taylor uucp) and am running into an annoying problem. I have NetBSD 0.9 (current) and GCC 2.4.5 Some of the .c files that I try and compile, I get an error to the effect of "Illegal operator: .size" on a line which is in the midle of a comment block. The line is always numbered < 10. Deleting the comment block, or adding code before it has no effect. It only happens on some files, but always on those files. A specific example. UUencode and UUdecode. The first 10 lines are identical comments. Encode died on the above error. Decode compiled fine. Any suggestions? -coranth ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Coranth Gryphon Karma: You can't take it with you, but you can send it on ahead.
