Sender: usenet@ns1.nodak.edu (Usenet login) Message-ID: <CHovun.DIo@ns1.nodak.edu> Date: Tue, 7 Dec 1993 23:56:46 GMT Nntp-Posting-Host: plains.nodak.edu Organization: North Dakota Higher Education Computing Network X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL1] Lines: 13 Could somebody please give me a walkthrough of any changes I must make to any configuration files to set up a 9600 baud dialin modem on NetBSD 0.9? I am trying to connect it to com0 and have gotten as far as getting the modem to connect on a dial in and then hang. No login or anything, no echo... I can however echo from the local terminal to the terminal connected over the modem but not back. What I need is just a simple dialin line to work on the machine from home, nothing fancy like SLIP for the time being. Shane Pilon pilon@plains.nodak.edu
