The card was recognized but ftp did not work. Then I downloaded src.doc.ic.ac.uk:386BSD/386bsd-0.1/unoffical/dist.fs-WE800 and ftp worked!. Great. I was getting 80 KB/sec over a 486 SCO based router to a DecStation 3100. One experience aside: During experimenting with various io addresses and irq vectors I found that the autoconfiguration code in TinyBSD seems to find the io address correctly but it cannot detect on which irq the card is running. I jumpered the card to irq 5 and the autoconfig still was showing irq 9 (mapped from 2 -> 9). Now I'm belonging owner of the BIF belt (can Bootstrap, Install on hard disk and FTP the rest of the system). Next higher rank is BIFN: BIF + 'can use NFS' :) -- Chris ----------------------------------------------------------------- kuku@acds.physik.rwth-aachen.de *** Error code 1 Stop.
