It seems to work at 2 with one or two SCSI drives. I have not traced down why it will not work as unit 4, but I suspect it could be changed in the kernel configuration. I believe you are correct in that most other O/Ss expect it as unit 4. If Bill is reading this and it is possible to change in the configuration, maybe the first set of official patches will change this. >BTW: I use a small partition booter wholly contained within the master >boot block.
