The one I use is jove. (I use 4.9 on BSD systems, but 4.14.7 on SYSV4, because it is difficult to get all of the features going with 4.9 on sysV). One I have compiled and spent a little time looking at is me2, which has a lot of similarity to GNU EMACS, but is a lot smaller, even compiling without a few features on DOS. I have found that MicroEMACS is less satisfactory to me , but many people like it better. You should be able to find these using one of the archie services. The latest hacks to jove are at a site at the U. of Toronto. -- -- ___________________ R.Stewart(Stew) Ellis, Assoc.Prof., (Off)313-762-9765 / _____ ______ Humanities & Social Science, GMI Eng.& Mgmt.
