Has anybody out there got/heard of a variant of UNIX (pref. free) which runs on either a PDP-11 or a MicroVAX II? My original posting of this message resulted in heaps of requests for a summary, so assuming I get an answer or two, it will be posted in alt.sys.pdp11, and vmsnet.pdp-11 When replying, please try to include an Anon FTP site or Voice Contact number, as well as minimum requirements, limitations etc... what ever you have... I'm also looking for software (again for the PDP-11(/73)) which will allow it to emulate an Ethernet DECServer (ie, plug in a DEQNA and DHV11 Async. Multiplexer, load the software, and pretend to be a DECServer, used by somthing else on the ethernet...) Not a bad use for a PDP-11 eh? Ok, well that's it for now... any replies would be appreciated.. Thanks Nik.
