And NetBSD supports these cards too! While I was writing the driver; I had
reports of 3c5x9 performance under other OS's (NeXtStep, Univel, etc); 
using 'ttcp', the reported throughput is anywhere from 420-600 KB/sec. 
Simply atrocious as far as I'm concerned.  The 3c509 driver under
NetBSD does 1010KB/sec using the ttcp benchmark between two NetBSD boxes
both with 3c509's.  I believe the limiting factor is the media bottleneck
in this case.

Also; BSD/386 (BSDI) supports the 3c5x9 also.
