My original posting of "this message resulted in heaps of requests for a summary, so assuming I "get an answer or two, it will be posted in alt.sys.pdp11, and vmsnet.pdp-11 can't help you with sources, -but- early unix was -developed- on the pdp-11. it was also free to universities. if the mv2 is one of the ones that has a vax arch., then bsd unix should work on it, space permitting; it was written for the vax originally. -- although you should be doing something productive with your life, you are instead wasting your time reading this inane mindless rambling drivel from the keyboard of: Andrew Hay, adh@turbo.east.sun.com
