I am currently in the process of deciding on an EISA SCSI controller and I noticed that drivers for the DPT controllers seem to be missing in both the free BSD variants and Linux (they are well-supported by commercial OS's). Is DPT withholding information in a way similar to Adaptec, or is it just because nobody found the time to write a driver yet?
