Actually, depending upon the drive this could be bad advice. Both the Wangtek 5525 and the Archive 2525 QIC-525 drives will read and write QIC-150 tapes. The versions of Julian's driver I use works well with both drives and both types of tape. QIC-150 tapes are useful for data exchange with machines whose drives won't support the denser recording method, and they're less expensive too. For those reasons, I use whichever tape makes the most sense for the application.
