This is probably FAQ by now, but I haven't seen it, sorry for
wasting the bandwidth...

What is the status of shared libraries in NetBSD-current and FreeBSD?
If they are not included in the distribution, can I FTP an implementation
from somewhere? Is XFree86 2.0 compiled with shared libraries?

Thanks!
