 at least with 0.1 wd driver (I have not check 0.1), this error was caused
 because the swap was not on a cylinder boundery. look at the output of
 the disklabel command; if there is a star after the swap parrtition's cylinder
 number, then move the swap so it is on a whole cylinder.
