Everything works fine, except for the news-batching via send-uucp. If I start this shellscript by hand from a terminal, it works and finishes, but started from cron, it locks somewhere and have to be killed with 'kill -1 <PID>'. My crontab-entry for news: sh -c /usr/local/enws/send-uucp system1 Anybody know why this happens from cron only ?
