   Whoops...correction...it IS a Speedstar Plus...

On my machine are running with XFree-86 2.0 and Diamonds SpeeStar Plus(1MB)
and NetBSD0.9. So Check your Xconfig first. I familia with your symptom when
write worng ModeDBs....
