Got me? >********************************************************* >Liberalism is the philosophy of sniveling brats. >--P.J. O'Rourke >-- I don't have a full solution but found that lpd does not send <CR>. By sending the sequence to the deskjet to turn <LF> into <CR><LF>, I was able to print on BSDi (similar to FreeBSD), although it seemed slow compared to DOS or Windows. <esc>&k2G does it. This isn't a high priority for me, so I haven't gotten farther than this. lpr a file with this sequence, then the printer will print. You may want to add pw#80 to the printcap to say that it is 80 characters wide.. Joe Beauchamp *************************************
