Does anyone have any experience with double-speed CD-ROM drives? If
so, what sort of bandwidth are you seeing from the drive?

I can't speak for the double speed Toshi's, since I have a 3301 not the
3401, but I thought folks might be interested to see what a single-speed
drive would do by comparison. If you don't get speeds substantially better
than this with a double-speed then either something is wrong with the
drive, the driver or the controller card and we should look into it..
I'm running off an Adaptec 1742 EISA card..
