I am trying to get a buslogic 545S controller to work on my machine.
when the controller is installed the bios is recognizing the installed hard
disk and scsi tape unit. the kcopy-ah-floppy boots i then install the
filesystem floppy and when it probes the controller i see the following
messages:

aha0: aha_cmd, cmd/data port empty 3
aha0: above cmd/data port empty do to Buslogic 545
aha0: reading board settings, dma=5 int=11
aha0 at 0x330 irq 11 drq 5 on isa

it then panics. Its not the disks cause they are recognised at system
initialization and i checked by disconnecting them entirely. To get
any further i had to pull the board out but then of course i couldn't
load anything on my disks.

Is there any thing special i need to do to the default settings that
come with the board? If anyone knows i'd appreciate the tip.

thanks,

jason
