Cothren) Organization: The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, OH Date: Tue, 4 Jan 1994 15:33:14 GMT I am trying to install FreeBSD 1.0R on my system at home, but am having problems with the floppy system. I have a 66MHz DX2 with a 34F and an ATI Ultra Pro LB, 3 serial lines (2 16550As), an LPT, and 1.44 and 1.2 floppies. The kcopy-bt kernel floppy appears to boot fine and probes my hardware correctly. However, whether I use the filesystem floppy or stay with the kernel copy floppy when prompted for a filesystem, the keyboard does not respond after I get a prompt. It works fine when I have to inform the system that the filesystem floppy is inserted. I have a Gateway 2000 system with one of those screwy Anykey keyboards. Is there some problem with this keyboard? Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get my system booted? Thanks in anticipation. -- ----Robert M.
