I wonder FreeBSD supports and kind of frame grabber, so that I will like to hook up my video camera and shoot some scenes and digitized it into some playable form with some suitable s/w. If not, does FreeBSDD have any intention of doing so in the near future ? Also, I wonder if FreeBSD is going to support TV viewing in the future. There is someone working right now on writing a FreeBSD driver for the Video Spigot - he just sent me mail on this the other day. Apparently he's still waiting for some of his tech specs. I'll let him identify himself if he wants to let this cat out of the bag that far in advance! :-) Finally, I wonder if it is possible to play .au audio files from a normal PC speaker ? If so, where can I find the right softwares ? Boy, you're just full of questions we've been discussing by sheer coincidence this last week! There is a Linux driver that does this, and someone just send me some Windows examples bits the other day to get a general idea. I've forwarded them on to Soren, the guy who wrote syscons, as he's evidently quite interested in doing this. I also quite like the idea of a .au format compatabable speaker driver..
