Once it does come up, however, I found it failed to set the >palette correctly and was exruciatingly (spel?) slow to do anything. if you have 8 megs mem, you shouldn't have any probs to run xv! i run it on my 486-33 with 8 megs and 256 k cache, its quite fast! even beats sparc 2 i am using at school(no hard data comparision, just feelings). and i never have palette probs. i guess you should check other areas. but 4 megs(as the original post said)? that will be a real problem, since swap is slower. get more ram!
