It happens in my system too. But I can run 'window' command from xterm in
XFree86 v2.0. It seems that 'window' can only run from a tty or pty, but
NOT console. The 'FILES' section of 'window' man page contains only
something like '/dev/[pt]ty*'. Does it mean that the behaviour of 'window'
is undefined on console?
