I am having some difficulty in booting. My computer hangs immediately after reading the dist.fs floppy. The Num Lock, Caps Lock and Scroll Lock lights blink twice, and then the diskette is read for 20 seconds, and all activity ceases with the drive light on. I tried the latest bootables on agate.berkeley.edu, but to no avail. Even the debug version showed absolutely nothing on the screen, and the computer also hanged. What I would like is a brief discription on how to go about changing the boot disk myself. Is enough code to do it contained in the bin01 distribution? Can it be done (I assume it can) from dos with an assembler and C compiler? Whatever help I can get concerning this would be appreciated. Thank you.
