Hi All,
I've got here a 486/66 with 16 Mb RAM, 1542CF SCSI and a Toshiba gig,
on this machine we want to install FreeBSD.
The network card is a new SMC Elite Ultra (Combo), when it is configured
on the IRQ 5 / IO 280 / RAM D8000 settings with the EZSTART software
everything works fine when using IPX/NETX but during the boot sequence
of FreeBSD it says:
ed0: kernel configured irq 5 doesn't match board configured irq 11
The card is configured on IRQ 5 but for some reason FreeBSD doesn't
want to know :-(
Does someone have seen this problem before? How did you get around it?
Any clues are welcome on:
paulj@hacktic.nl
Thanks a zillion
Paul.
