Date: 11 Jan 1994 23:59:04 GMT Organization: University of California, Santa Cruz Lines: 12 Message-ID: <2gveg8$p81@darkstar.UCSC.EDU> NNTP-Posting-Host: am.ucsc.edu X-Newsreader: NN version 6.5.0 #1 (NOV) How can I get stats on my net devices? I want packets per second and bytes per packet on a per device basis. I know rstat() can give me overall (total) i/o #s but not more specific #s. Where does netstat get its numbers? -- The Wailer at the Gates of Dawn | banshee@cats.UCSC.EDU | Just who ARE you calling a FROOFROO Head? | | DoD#0667 "Just a friend of the beast." | banshee@ucscb.UCSC.EDU | 2,3,5,7,13,17,19,31,61,89,107,127,521,607....| banshee@ucscb.BITNET |
