I have got a Toshiba TXM-3301A1 CD-ROM reader and it just refuses to mount disks under FreeBSD 1.0 Release. It gets recognized at bootup with a drive empty message, even though there's a disk in there. This is a SCSI drive, and I have an Adaptec 1542C. I have successfully mounted an NEC Multi-Spin drive without a problem. If anyone has this drive and has gotten it to work, please let me know. I do not know if this drive is made by Mitsumi, but since it's a SCSI drive, I don't think the mdc.c fix is the problem here. Please enlighten me if I am in error..
