In some implementations of DMA controller, bus arbiter, and refresh timers They are connected and screwing with them may have very bad effects. The exact nature of the interaction is implementation dependent and will therefore not be useful on all systems running *BSD. Therefore please begin discussing something relevant to 386BSD or take this thread to an IBM-compatible hardware group, or better yet, just stop. Any replies not directly related to *BSD should be directed to the bit-bucket. ^^^^^^^^ -- "I have feelings too, I just choose to | Paul Miranda likes cheese to hide them underneath bitter denial" | mustang@ccwf.cc.utexas.edu -- Ms. Musso on "Parker Lewis" (FOX TV) | -- THIS SPACE FOR RENT --
