Hi,
Sorry for this simple question, but I can't find it in FAQ.
I got a new 1.0R kernel build with pseudo-device ppp 4. But what
is the next step that actually make use of this ppp connection. I
am familiar with the way SLIP connection works. Just wonder is ppp
sort of like SLIP except you don't need a modem between the machines ?
Also, are there any user level application that deal with ppp equivalent
to slattach, sliplogin ? Can someone please post a summary or email me
any old posting etc ?

  Many thanks in advance!
