I got a new 1.0R kernel build with pseudo-device ppp 4. But what is the next step that actually make use of this ppp connection. I am familiar with the way SLIP connection works. Just wonder is ppp sort of like SLIP except you don't need a modem between the machines ? Also, are there any user level application that deal with ppp equivalent to slattach, sliplogin ? Can someone please post a summary or email me any old posting etc ? Many thanks in advance! - wongm@latcs1.lat.oz.au (M.C Wong) -- - wongm@latcs1.lat.oz.au
