Message-ID: <17JAN94.15142820@tifrvax.tifr.res.in> Sender: news@dxcern.cern.ch (USENET News System) Organization: Tata Institute of Fundamental Research Date: Mon, 17 Jan 1994 15:14:28 GMT Lines: 12 When ever i try to reboot my NetBSD machine, or shut it down, or even kill 1, i get the message: cant idle init or that there are a few process left, do ps axl I just cant seem to kill these things. Also, (and perhaps because of this), when ever i reboot the machine i get hanging inodes during the fsck which are cleared and the machine reboots a second time correctly. What could the problem be? bhiksha bhiksha@tifrvax.tifr.res.in
