There have been a series of updates since October 26. We are now on 1.11, which seems much more robust because of dynamic buffers. The best place in the US to get the latest sources is on sunsite.unc.edu:/pub/Linux/apps/comm/term. Once you are there most everything is down, but also look ../termstuff.
