What 'delema' are you speaing of. It looked like he wrote a driver and released it. I don't see what the connection is between Steve's driver and your driver. Are the two connected somehow? Steve did not think enough of your influence on his project to even include your name -anywhere- in the code. It looks like you had about >< this much of an impact on his work. > > However, to state a position one way or another on > an unseem piece of software would be fool hardy. > Additionally with persons such as Dave Burgess involved > with the project I am sure it will be a fine effort. Totally unimportant to this issue. The original poster had a valid point. He was sick to death of you foaming at the mouth about your stupid 'unseem piece of software' and wanted to know if anyone else had been working on it for real. -Your- answer was 'Perhaps I should make a liar out of you.' -The- answer was 'yes' someone else did do it and here is where it is. I don't think it is 'fool hardy' at all to state that it appears you had nothing to do with the develompent of Steve's driver. This is not an opinion. It is clear from the driver itself (if not its exsistance) that you had nothing to do with it. If you did I would be intrested to hear -this- story. No one ever said a QIC driver would never be released ... they just said that -your- QIC driver would never be released. Based on simple emperical observation I am happy Steve put out what he did. > > Have a nice day. > I will. The sun is finally warming the air, I have a QIC driver now, and I am going to give you an honored place in my kill file today. What could be better? -- - pitts@mimosa.astro.indiana.edu ^ | James J.
