Date: Fri, 21 Jan 1994 23:13:00 GMT Lines: 19 Configuration: GateWay 486Dx2 50, 8 MB RAM running NetBSD 0.9 I have an NE2000-compatible ethernet adapter that shows up at boot time as interface ne0 at IRQ 9, however, I am unable to ping anything on our network successfully. It appears that packets do go out, but it can't hear any responses. Probably an interrupt problem. The board is actually an Asante' EtherPac 2001 board that works fine as an NE2000 compatible under DOS/Windows. Do I have to configure jumpers or DIPs on the board, or is this an OS config. problem? I also tried a Western Digital Ethernet adapter with no luck. Thanks in advance! Randy
