Lost Prompt after exiting XFree86 2.0! Date: 22 Jan 1994 01:16:44 GMT Organization: University of North Texas Lines: 18 Message-ID: <2hpups$e8n@hermes.unt.edu> NNTP-Posting-Host: ponder.csci.unt.edu Keywords: 386bsd, xfree2.0 System: NetBSD 0.9, XFree86 2.0, IBM SLC2/66, 16M memory, 340M IDE hard ET4000 1M (Diamond SpeedStar), and NEC 3D I can run and compile under console. Under X window, I can see and do whatever I want. However, whenever I run X and quit it, I CANNOT get a prompt back. Noting is working except reset button to reboot the whole machine. I read README.et4000 file and it said that there was some problem getting a prompt back with ET4000 card. Any ideas, suggestions, and helps will be greatly appreciated. -- Dongil Shin INTERNET: dshin@cs.unt.edu Dept. of Comp. Sci.
