The NetBSD installer finds the controller (as aha0) but cannot access the drive. There cannot be very much wrong since both 386BSD and FreeBSD will work with the 1542CF. But I guess we now have to ask the real experts about this. You cannot buy a 1542C any more. If you order one today they will ship you a 1542CF. Martin Allard --
