Here are my problems: 1) I get an error message from extract (can't find etc01.install). Complications: extract was erased when I extracted bin01, so I had to make another dist disk, and I copied it off of there... 2) I had an ethernet card in the machine when I first installed 386BSD, and when I changed ethernet cards, the system reported problems on the boot disk (a scsi drive). The problems go away when I put the old ethernet board back in. (The old card is an AST, the new is a D-Link DE-001 that is compatible to the NE1000.) 3) I want to keep my DOS partition, but the install for NetBSD implies, to me, that it will erase the entire disk when it installs. What am I doing wrong? I have decided to re-install 386BSD with the new ethernet card, and hope that it will work. If anyone has answers to my questions, please send e-mail to mavin@netcom.com.
