Natraj" <nn07+@andrew.cmu.edu> Newsgroups: comp.os.386bsd.questions Subject: Help: tcsh doesn't work with FreeBSD Date: Sat, 29 Jan 1994 16:17:55 -0500 Organization: Doctoral student, Industrial Administration, Carnegie Mellon, Pittsburgh, PA Lines: 13 Message-ID: <ghGh_3u00WB9Mfv3Yj@andrew.cmu.edu> NNTP-Posting-Host: po6.andrew.cmu.edu I have FreeBSD 1.0.2 running on my machine and when I start tcsh I get the following Warning: no access to tty (Operation not supported by device). Thus no job control in this shell. I looked through the source code and figured out where this message was coming from. It looks like there seems to be a problem with the group to which I belong to. Since I am not very familiar with this stuff I would greatly appreciate any help on fixing this. Thanks in advance. Natraj.
