Date: 28 Jan 1994 16:42:21 GMT Organization: Helsinki University of Technology, Finland Lines: 12 Distribution: world Message-ID: <HSU.94Jan28184220@laphroaig.cs.hut.fi> NNTP-Posting-Host: laphroaig.cs.hut.fi Anyone seen this: SMC Elite Combo drops IP packets (something like 50% loss, particularly with large packets) with recompiled kernel (GENERIC), but kernel in the distribution works fine. The symptoms seem SMC card related, as this appears in two different systems (16MHz very-old-386-PC-ega and 66MHz-AMD-opti-hercules).
