Lines: 27 Message-ID: <2ijovu$4ci@hq.hq.af.mil> NNTP-Posting-Host: dms1.hq.af.mil X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL0] I remember awhile back a discussion about winchester drives hanging/locking up during moderate-heavy disk usage. It was noted that the wd0 controller driver was messed up, and I think would be fixed. What was the final answer to the problem? My computer has crashed at least 15 times, and If I can't get it to work this time, I will try LINUX. I remember someone using a cron to somehow wake-up the wd drive after it was hung, but I believe they had a problem with the cron possibly overwriting other files. Please either post to this grour or EMail me at the below address.
