I can't speek for the plans of the BSD developement team, but while your are waiting why not use the Linux fdisk to correctly partition your disks? This is what I did. All that you need are the Linux install kernel and install floppy root file system... Takes just two disks and since its done only once per install, its not that big of a hassle. Just make sure that you mark the BSD partion(s) with the appropriate type manually. Roy
