Thanks to everyone who helped me get my modem up and working with my
NetBSD machine -- right now I am logged into my account at school with
my NetBSD machine and everything seems to be working OK! Wow! DOS-free!

OK, now for the next question. I was able to transfer text files using
the <tilde>t command in tip (this is the take function), but I cannot
figure out how to transfer binary files. If anyone out there is doing
this, please let me know how.

Thanks again!
